Laminated Veneer Lumber, a strong, engineered wood product used for construction. It's made from thin layers of wood that are glued together. LVL is comparable in strength to solid timber, concrete, and steel. It is more stable and resistant to rot, termite infestation, and mold. It is also stronger and more durable than conventional lumber and can be manufactured to almost any length. It is normally used for beams, headers, rimboard, edge-forming material, rafters, lintels, purlins, truss chords, and formwork.
